British psychologists have attacked the junk discipline of psychiatry!

The British Psychological Association has courageously gone on the offensive against the trash discipline of psychiatry. The Guardian has reported that according to the leading body which represents Britain's clinical psychologists there is absolutely no scientific evidence that psychiatric diagnoses such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder have any validity or usefulness. The British psychologists are suggesting a "paradigm shift" dealing with an understanding of the issues of mental health. Serious doubt is being raised about psychiatry's primarily biomedical model of mental distress, which is the idea that people are suffering from illnesses which can be treated by doctors using drugs.
