A lot of the brightest young men and women in the USA who are activists are right in assuming they will be risking their freedom and their lives if they go to medical school. There is so much money and power associated with the practice of medicine in the USA the US government immediately moves in to do background checks of all medical students and doctors and generally keeps them under 24/7 satellite drone surveillance.
